Stewed Pork with Apple

 

*Ingredients* for 2 servings  Cooking time: 90 minutes

 

1 can       ‘Japan Fruits’ Apple

 

300g         Block pork

 

100g         Mushrooms

 

¼ cup       White wine

 

10g            Butter

 

Salt and pepper

 

2 tablespoon           Balsamic vinegar

 

1 teaspoon              Soy sauce

 

 

 

*Direction*

 

1. Separate apples from syrup. Cut block pork into bite-size, and season with salt and pepper. Cut mushrooms into bite-size.

 

2. Fry pork and mushrooms with butter. Once pork gets brown and mushrooms become tender, add half apples, syrup, balsamic vinegar and soy sauce. Cook them for 1 hour with lid.

 

3. Add another half of apples, and cook until soup becomes thick.

 

*Add water or white wine when soup is gone while cooking.

 

 

 

 

 

German Apple Crumble

 

*Ingredients* for 1 whole cake  Cooking time: 80 minutes

 

1 can       ‘Japan Fruits’ Apple

 

80g            Butter

 

120g         Sugar

 

1                Egg

 

250g         Flower

 

1 teaspoon              Baking powder

 

Cinnamon

 

 

 

*Direction*

 

1. Put all ingredients except apples into a big bowl. Break butter with hands. Make crumble dough.

 

2. Put butter in a mould. Put half amount of crumble into the mould, and place apples on it. Cover apples with the rest of crumbles.

 

3. Bake it with 180-200c Celsius for 45-50 minutes.

 

 

 

 

 

Chicken Curry

 

*Ingredients* for 2 servings  Cooking time: 40 minutes

 

1 can       ‘Japan Fruits’ Apple

 

1 fillet      Chicken thigh

 

3                Onion

 

1 can        Canned tomato

 

Water (same amount as tomato can)

 

6 tablespoon           Curry powder

 

5 tablespoon           Consommé powder

 

2 tablespoon           Worcester sauce

 

400ml       Soy milk

 

Vegetable oil

 

a)       6 sprinkles                 Garam masala

 

a)       5sprinkles Cumin     

 

a)       5sprinkles Coriander

 

a)       5sprinkles Clove

 

*Direction*

 

1. Cut onions into wedges, and heat 17-20 minutes with microwave.

 

2. Put onions into a blender to make them paste.

 

3. Add apples to 2 and make them paste.

 

4. Cut chicken thigh into bite size. Fry it with vegetable oil.

 

5. Add canned tomato, water, paste3 and mix well.

 

6. Add curry powder, consommé powder, Worcester sauce and ingredient a.

 

7. Add soy milk and stir well. Boil for 10 minutes with low heat.

 

 

 

 

 

Green Smoothie Ice Pop with orange and apple

*Ingredients* for 6 servings  Cooking time: 10 minutes (excluding cooling time)

 

1 can       ‘Japan Fruits’ Apple

 

1 can        ‘Japan Fruits’ Orange

 

100g         Japanese mustard spinach

 

A)      50g              Syrup from 'Japan Fruits’ Orange

 

A)      130g            Syrup from  ‘Japan Fruits’ Apple

 

A)      30g              Syrup

 

A)      70g              Grapefruits juice

 

*Direction*

 

1. Put Japanese mustard spinach and ingredients A into a mixer. Mix well.

 

2. Put oranges and apples into moulds. Pour 1 into moulds gently.

 

3. Tap moulds to remove air. Put a stick in each mould and freeze for more than 8 hours.

 

 

 

 

Apple Pie

 

*Ingredients* for 2 servings  Cooking time: 35 minutes (excluding defrosting pie sheet)

 

1 can       ‘Japan Fruits’ Apple

 

1 sheet   Frozen pie crust

 

Cinnamon

 

Sugar

 

2-3 tablespoon       Bread crust

 

Whipping cream, mint

 

 

 

*Direction*

 

1. Defrost pie crust. Drain apples well.

 

2. Cut pie crust and place onto a pie plate. Arrange apples onto it nicely.

 

3. Place pie crust twice on the edge. Arrange bread crust into a pie plate to make it absorb juice from apple.

 

4. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on the apples. Cover apples with pie crust. Pinch pie edge with folk to seal.

 

5. Preheat oven to 180c Celsius, and bake it for 20-30 minutes.

 

6. Serve it with whipped cream and mint.
