(‘niku’ means meat and ‘jaga’ is an abbreviation for ‘jaga-imo’, which means potato.) is

one of typical Japanese home food.

Beef and potato is simmered in broth with soy sauce and sugar.

It is characterized by combination of soy sauce and sugar taste,

and relatively big pieces of potato and beef.

Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture, is a port city and said hometown of ‘niku-jaga’.

This curry sauce was created by the combination of niku-jaga-like big pieces of ingredients

and middle-spicy curry sauce.

Also konyaku, one of the typical ingredients for nuku-jaga, is in this curry.
