Hangesho.




According to Japanese calendar, today (July 2) is called 'Hangesho'(半夏生: the 11th day after the summer solstice).
People in Kansai area have traditionally eaten octopus on this day.

In Awaji Island in Hyogo prefecture, there's a good restaurant where you can enjoy a BIG tako(octopus) tempura donburi !!
I went there 2 years ago, and I miss the donburi soooo much!!
It's really good!
