My baby had this ceremony yesterday!

In japan, there are so many stages to celebrate a baby's growth as he/she gets older, and this is one of them.
The food prepared for the baby is very simbolic, and food considered happy (ex. tai(sea bream), sekihan(red rice), hamaguri(clam) etc...) is used for each dish.
Of course, the baby can't eat anything at all, but the parents press food with chopsticks onto the baby's lips, and let the baby pretend to eat.
This ceremony means the baby will never go hungry throughout its life.
